This funding, paired with $35,000,000 from Grosse Ile Township, would assist in completing critical repairs and modernizing the Grosse Ile Toll Bridge. With these funds, roadway infrastructure as well as mechanical and electrical components of the bridge would be improved and increase the load capacity for both commuter and commercial traffic.
