Since 2013, the organization has revitalized the area through affordable housing, entrepreneurship training, and resident engagement, renovating 16 homes, acquiring 35 parcels, and launching a Community Land Trust. The DREAM Center will expand these efforts by providing space for services, workforce development, small business support, and community gathering. Located in a historically disinvested neighborhood facing displacement pressures, the project promotes long-term affordability, economic opportunity, and resident-led development, delivering clear public benefit and responsible use of taxpayer funds.
